Texting
Trice by text message: how it starts, what arrives, and how it stops, in plain words.
The short version
¶Text Trice is Trice by text message, for the owner of a field-service business. Text (844) 568-0295 to start. Trice replies in the same conversation: setting the business up, then running the day. Reply STOP at any time and every text stops. Trice never sends marketing texts, and never sells or shares a mobile number.
How it starts
¶You text first. Send any first text to (844) 568-0295, or check the texting box where Trice offers it during sign-up. The box starts unchecked, and only a checked box counts. The first reply names Trice and how to stop: “Trice here. This number sets up and runs your business by text. Reply HELP for help, STOP to stop. How many people work in the business, counting you?”
Consent is per phone number. Texting from a phone agrees for that phone. A different phone starts with its own first text.
Texting opens per business. The number answers when the service opens for your business. Before that, the same number takes the first text and says when texting opens.
What arrives
¶Most texts are replies to yours, in the conversation you started. Trice also sends a small number of texts you asked for by using Trice:
- The morning schedule, at the hour you chose.
- A finished job that still needs its invoice, and a due date your crew set.
- A reply when a photo or a file you sent has been read.
At most three of these arrive in a day, and none between 9 in the evening and 7 in the morning where you are. A text you did not ask for never names a client and never shows an amount. Trice sends no marketing, no offers and no messages for anyone else.
How it stops, and how to get help
¶STOP stops every text to that phone, and Trice confirms once that they have stopped. START begins again. HELP brings back the short version of this page and how to reach a person.
A person answers at [email protected].
What it costs
¶Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply, as with any text. Trice does not charge for the texts themselves. Credit in Trice pays for finished work, the same as in the app, and the phone is never asked to buy anything.
Your number
¶Your mobile number is used to run your business by text and for nothing else. It is never shared with, or sold to, another company for their marketing. The Privacy page says the rest.
